User Responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your resumes. AI suggestions must be verified by you before use.
Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of your data, profile details, and exported resumes. We do not license your content.
Fair Usage
Accounts are for individual personal use. Scripting, botting, or spamming the API will result in termination.
01 / Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, uploading a document, or accessing the website and services provided by ResuMaxxing (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to use the Service.
02 / AI Deployment & Liability
The Service uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) via developer APIs to parse, format, draft, and optimize resumes. AI models are prone to errors, omissions, or factual discrepancies (commonly referred to as "hallucinations").
Important: You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all content generated, edited, or compiled by the Service before submitting it to employers. We are not liable for any missed employment opportunities, incorrect data submissions, or damages arising from AI-generated text.
03 / Fair Use & Account Restrictions
Accounts are for individual, personal career use only. You agree not to engage in any behavior that degrades, overburdens, or compromises the Service. Prohibited actions include:
- Deploying automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or tools to interact with our APIs or interface.
- Exploiting the redeem code system to bypass credit restrictions.
- Re-selling, white-labeling, or commercializing the output or access to the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately and without notice if we detect abuse or violations of these terms.
04 / Intellectual Property
Your Data: You retain complete ownership of all resumes, profile details, job tracker items, and exported PDFs you create using the Service.
Our Platform:ResuMaxxing and its licensors retain all rights, titles, and interests in the platform's source code, design systems, algorithms, UX patterns, icons, branding, and assets.
05 / Modifications to the Service & Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We also reserve the right to amend these Terms of Service. When updates are published, the revision date at the top of the page will be updated. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
06 / Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESUMES COMPLED BY THE SERVICE WILL GUARANTEE JOB INTERVIEWS OR OFFERS.

These Terms of Service and any dispute arising from your use of the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operators reside, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
